Sponsored by the Conference’s Healing the Wounds of Racism Core Team, this timely seminar will feature several experts who will offer diverse cultural, social, historical and personal perspectives on the racial experiences of Latinx people and the intersection with their faith and religion.
Invited speakers are:
- Yenni Delgado is an Indigenous Peruvian theologian and social psychologist who directs PUBLICA: Theology in Public Life.
- Professor Agustina Luvisis an Afro-Caribbean feminist theologian, who teaches at Seminario Evangelico de Puerto Rico.
- The Rev. Nelson Rabell,from Puerto Rico, is a Lutheran Pastor in San Joaquin County, California. He describes himself as “pro poor, pro women, pro LGBTQ and pro immigrant.”
The Rev. Irving Cotto, a pastor and co-chairman of the Conference’s Latino Commission, and the Rev. Alicia Julia-Stanley, a pastor who co-chairs the Conference Commission on Religion and Race, will co-host the webinar. Register online now!
