We have received word of the death of the Rev. Robert C. Pike, Retired Elder, who passed away on December 15, 2022.
He received his License to Preach in 1947, became a Deacon in 1951, and then an Elder in Full Connection in 1953. He served faithfully until his retirement in 1987.
Rev. Pike served the following churches in the Eastern PA Conference prior to retirement:
- Reading: Holy Cross
- Glenside
- Philadelphia: Fox Chase
- Fairless Hills: First
- Drexel Hill
- Mount Joy: Chiques
- Salunga
- St. Peter’s: Mount Carmel

He was preceded in death by his wife, Muriel. His life is celebrated by his son, Douglas Pike (wife, Kathy) and his daughter, Cynthia McGary (husband, Jeffrey).
A Memorial Service to honor him will be held on January 14, 2023 at 1 PM in the Zerr Chapel at Cornwall Manor (1 Boyd Street Cornwall, PA. 17016).
