Transforming Youth Group in 2021 and Beyond!
Youth groups seem to have suffered in many ways during the Pandemic and it’s not ending anytime soon. Trying to plan activities and even virtual, online events are not working for many. We need to find new, more adaptive and flexible ways of doing creative youth ministry. Join two seasoned youth and young adult ministry directors who are seeking bright spots in these dark times. They will share successes, non-successes, pitfalls, and best practices to help transform youth groups in 2021 and beyond!
Co-Presenters: Denise Harris has been in youth ministry for 23 years and doing it at Yardley UMC for 18 years. She led the start and growth of MyCalling, a successful mission learning and engagement ministry for middle-schoolers. Diana Esposito, a Deacon at Grove UMC in West Chester, has served in youth ministries at six UM churches and Camp Innabah. She also helps lead the Open Door Campus Ministry at Drexel University for the Wesley Foundation of Philadelphia.
