6 PM Dinner
7 PM Meeting

Join us for the second gathering of We Walk by Faith, where United Methodists and the broader community come together to stand in solidarity, engage in meaningful conversations, and commit to action for justice.

Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM, and the program will begin at 7:00 PM.

This event will feature powerful speakers addressing urgent social justice issues:

•Alyssa Weinfurtner (Director of Emergency Services, Philadelphia) on the youth housing crisis and its impact on LGBTQI youth.

•Peter Pedemonti & Blanca Pacheco (New Sanctuary Movement of Philadelphia) on sanctuary and immigration under the current presidential administration.

•Rev. Jackie Newsome, ESQ (Associate Pastor, FUMCOG) on prison gerrymandering and the abolitionist movement.

Following each speaker, we will engage in round-table discussions, connecting these pressing issues to our United Methodist Social Principles and inspiring collective action.

All are welcome!
