You asked….we listened! In Person Laity Academy Classes to be Held at 2 Locations on April 26 !
Join Rev. Monica Guepet at Stroudsburg UMC for a class on “Prayer for Our Times-Personal, Congregational & Community Prayer”
This class is open to any member of the laity with a desire to explore this ministry area or grow spiritually
Cost: $30 which covers cost of the class and all instructional materials, as well as a light breakfast, lunch, and coffee, tea and water throughout the day.
There will be 8 hours of in person instruction on April 26, with two hours of pre-and or post class work to complete the 10 hour requirement for CSM and CLM credit. Partial credit will not be awarded.
The churches will be open at 7:30 am for check-in and continental breakfast. Class will be held from 8 am until noon, with a break for lunch, and then from 1 to 5 pm. Additional breaks will be held throughout the day. There will be no onsite registration for either class.
All pre- and post-class work assignments will be sent by email to participants as soon as their paid registrations are received by Conference. Additionally, the instructors will also email the participants with additional information for the class and contact information for the instructor.

- Stroudsburg UMC is located at 547 Main Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Stroudsburg is 90 minutes north of Allentown via I 78 and 33.
